What we do
The relief exists. Almost nobody goes looking for it.
Government support for UK businesses is not one scheme but dozens, and most of it is claimed by the companies that happen to hear about it. We check which apply to what you already do, rather than asking you to change anything in order to qualify.

Services Offered
Four places funding is most often left unclaimed.
None of these needs a new project. They apply to work already done.
R&D tax relief claims
If you solved a technical problem where the route was not obvious, that work may qualify — even if it failed.
Innovation grants
Competitive funding for development work, usually awarded before the spend rather than after it. Timing matters.
Capital allowances
Plant, machinery and qualifying fit-out costs often carry relief that was never separated out at the time.
Land remediation relief
Cleaning up contaminated or long-derelict land you acquired can carry relief above the cost you incurred.
Does this apply to you
You may already have done the qualifying work.
None of this needs a new project. It applies to work already done.
You changed how you make it
Reworking a process to hit a tolerance, a speed or a cost the old method could not reach may qualify.
You built kit or software
If nothing off the shelf did the job and you were not sure your approach would hold, that is the test.
A project that did not work
Failure does not disqualify a claim. What matters is that the route was genuinely uncertain at the start.
How we work
Certified firms prepare it. You keep one contact.
We establish what qualifies and what it is likely to be worth. If it is worth pursuing, a certified partner firm prepares and submits the claim, including the additional information HMRC now requires before it will accept one.
You deal with the same person at ConsultAway throughout, and you see the submission before it goes in. We invoice our share after the money reaches your account, and nothing before.
THIS IS ONE OF THREE
Most businesses qualify in more than one of these.
One conversation covers all three. You never pick a starting point.
